Born and raised in Southern California, Baseball clearly played a large role in my life. As fortunate as I am to say, I reached the goal of making it to the MLB. I'm blessed to have such a loving family and a strong friend group that has helped not just guide and direct but love and protect me along what has been nothing less than a challenging path. As many obstacles have presented themselves through my career, I know I am not alone in the challenges that have been faced in climbing through the ranks of amateur/professional baseball and "life."  

A pretty profound fact. Baseball, is more than a game, its an instrument, its a tool, for me, its life. When its played "properly," it has the design for any player, at any time, to be the HERO, thats what I love about baseball, parlayed with the fact that "the game" does NOT discriminate. It does have RULES that REGULATE, a cohesive effort to congregate, objectify and, incentivize? Join me and our team, in our mission that is best described at HOME PLATE, "You miss 100% of the shots you dont take"-Wayne Gretzky.

Baseball is much more than a game. Here @Baseballscool, I will be sharing the "k.i.s.s." method. abbreviated for, keep it simple students. This platform will allow my humble and shameless approach to sharing, and teaching, while ultimately continuously seeking a higher reaching. Dont give up, dont be content, we are designed to move, to grow, to "know". How much? Well, that is up to you, partially. Help "us" redefine school here @Baseballscool. We believe in the value of EDUCATION in our community as much as we believe in the need for the air we breathe, but only to a degree. We will NOT force anyone to do anything, we will only do our best at encouraging and providing a positive environment for EVERYONE to get BETTER. Time is ticking, class is in session, doors open, just dont be late ;) Here @Baseballscool its ALWAYS better late than never, to being one day better, join US on OUR journey to "THE BETTER ME."

My passion for baseball originated early in life through radio broadcasts of games in my grandparents kitchen. The game and personal stories of the players were explained by the great Vin Scully. I actively played baseball during my youth and stopped competitive play in college following a series of injuries. I’ve coached for almost 3 decades now throughout many levels of the game. I was fortunate enough to have been a contracted scout for the Marlins for 4 years after completion of the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau development program in 2007 and the Reds initial recommendation to attend classes. My connections in the game now continue as a supportive father of a former MLB pitcher, John Lamb, who continues his own personal professional path back to the highest level of competition. My focus on teaching baseball is based on the fundamentals of catch, throw and hit through discipline and structure of practice. The primary focus is to maintain fun during the process of improving skills while playing the game of baseball. I will continue to share my experiences and knowledge to players and families as long as I live.
